First Step..

I dont know why.. but i believe everyone should have a pet. It doesn't matter if its a lazy cat, hyperactive dog, silent rabbit, noisy parrot,or mysterious ferret, everyone should have it. If you want to try something different you maybe can try to get an exotic animal like snake, gecko or even a pair or marmoset! They will teach you more on discipline and responsibility. They will reduce your stress. Ask people around you who have a loving pet. They know better. perhaps, they can share you more tips, recommend you better vet or know which breeder you can go to get your pet.
But, before they get a pet for their companion, They should studied more about themself before their pet and be prepare in everything; financially, emotionally, time, your health condition, allergy issues  and ready for the responsibility. Be sure what kind of responsibility you going to deal with. Being an owner is not just to feed them. The vet bills, time for grooming or cleaning their mess, love and attention, everything must take into account.
After all the consideration, then you can study on your choice of pet, A pedigree or non-pedigree, neutered or not, age preferences and again all is depend on your capacity. If you choose a pedigree. You can be a part in your pet show. If you choose a neutered, you dont have to think about unwanted litter, the howling for mating, or even spraying!
Where to find your pet? I strongly recommend you to buy it at the reputable breeder. Yes, its expensive but you still can negotiate with the breeder and get a written agreement for maybe a breeding right or something~ Dont buy from a backyard breeder. You have no idea what you deal latter or perhaps you adopt from animal shelter!
Adopting a pet from a shelter can transform your house into a cozy home. But without careful preparation, your new furry friend can turn the old homestead into a mess.
Good luck!!
