My Amarise giving birth~

When i took her in 5 months ago, i never thought she is pregnant. Until one day my friends Hasnan and Ash convinced me that Amarise came with a gift. At first i thought she just a heavy eater. I just moved in my new apartment and at that time i'm not sure i'm ready to have additional kittens in my furkids family~ So i just waited. I have no idea when she's going to give birth because i have no idea when she mated. Normal persian will give birth 65-68 days after mating.
But thank God, everything went fine. On 29th of November when i reached home from office alone, she kept calling me to accompany her in her room and at that's when the miracle happen!! Seriously i have no idea what to do. What i did was i grabbed some of Joey's hands towels and pet my dear Amarise. i'm called my friend and ash to come over after the 1st baby was born..

At least twice per week!!

We have a tight schedulle every day. Working from 9 to 6 in the office, and back home we only have about less than 15 hours to clean the house, take a bath, rest, social networking, do other housework or officework perhaps?   .. and then sleep. Thats why we schedulle to comb and brushing our cat twice a week. And we brush and comb them by pair every time. Thats mean we brush our cats daily!!

Chippy is tired after a grooming session :)
Combing and brushing them is especially the longhaired one actually required a daily routine. This is to prevent matted and its also help you to bond with your cats. Its the only quality time we had during weekdays. All my cats is highly tolerate during the brushing and combing session. Some of them even purring during the session. If we start the routine since kitten, they will get used to it :)

As a rule, only semi-long and longhaired cats will get mats, but sometimes a shorthaired cat with an extremely dense coat is may face the same problem too. Cats with long hair tend to have a very thin outer layer of skin and cutting out a mat of fur can cause a really nasty injury. Even a small nick can split the skin and create a gaping hole.
When combing longhaired cats you can use a wide toothed comb followed by a fine tooth comb. Shorthaired cats should be combed with a short toothed comb or a rubber brush. This will make the combing easier and more pleasant for your cat. We have like 6 different comb and brush for different purpose.  For Longhaired cat, take the end of the wide toothed comb and start picking at the mat gently. You will notice that the hair starts to loosen after awhile. Remember to be gentle and patient. Pain will trigger aggression in a cat who will associate grooming sessions with torture.

Begin the session with play, and then gradually comb the areas that don't seem to bother your cat. If the cat starts to misbehave, stop the session and continue combing only when the cat is calm and rested. Try to avoid pulling the mat.
It is quite important to note that some long haired cats such as Persians have what is known as an undercoat as well as their top coat, so you must comb this as well to prevent the fur becoming matted. Do not comb your cat when they are wet! Dry them first before the session. Last but not least ; Be gentle and Be patient~

Rehome the Dance Dance:)

Now the Dance Dance babies is all grown healthy.  They are now eating by their own and have their own personality. Playful, very smart fun kitty, easy going and minggles well. We have litter trained them well and just adorable!! Its time to rehome them to the lovely house,

Galliard is now living with Miss Angel at Rawang. He is the fast learner! He is the one who eat by his own first and learned how to use the litterbox.  He is a very affectionate, independant kitten and responds to its name. Call his name and he will come running to you!!

I love Oddisey who love to stay as close as he can with people. He dont like to be alone, very playful and sociable. He love to sit next to us and watching TV, running around with big cats, and eating everyone food except his own!  He can sleep at anywhere he wanted.  Oddisey just adopted by Mr Amim from Johor Bahru. We will missing this cheeky little rascal that makes everyone smile :)

And Cottilion will stay with us and be spoilt like her uncle ; Chika~
